About the role
You will assist the Queensland Police Service in developing trust, understanding the indigenous/multi-cultural community needs and breaking down barriers between the local community and the local police. You will play an essential role by building and maintaining these strong relationships between the community and the Queensland Police Service.
You will work within the Normanton Police Division who are committed to creating and improving working partnerships focused on prevention to deliver sustainable outcomes.
The team also plays a key role in community engagement activities across schools and other local and state government agencies, non-government agencies and stakeholders etc. aimed at educating and promoting the awareness of preventative behaviours.
