Project Manager

Due to continued growth, Ferrycarrig are currently looking to a hire a Project Manager to work on Infrastructure projects based in the Sydney Region.

Driven by unprecedented investment in data centres, power, water and enabling infrastructure, our business is entering an exciting new phase of growth. We are currently looking for a talented Project Manager to join the team.

What you will be doing  

• The Project Manager will oversee 1-2 projects.  
• You will need to be able to work with blue collar staff and instill strong project management principles with project team to ensure the company’s self-perform and self-deliver promise is maintained, and our brand promise is upheld across all of our projects as well as the downstream management of our subcontractors and suppliers. 
• The role will require strong Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management leadership, along with the ability to build strong relationships to ensure that repeat work is obtained from our key customers. 
• Along with the Senior Project Manager you are responsible for managing and reporting on project cashflow and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.  
• Manage daily and weekly site meetings and report on progress and programming and resource management.  
• Arrange meetings with key stakeholders and identify business opportunities within your sector whilst also contributing to the companies strategic targets. 
• Support the Engineers in their role for planning high risk works, review design and work with other departments in the company to ensure project teams are provided what is needed to complete the projects safely. 

Is this job for me  

• You must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field. 
• You need to have at least 7 years of working experience in construction with a minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering Utilities Infrastructure projects in the NSW market.  
• Working knowledge of NEC4 contract is desirable.  
• Previous experience managing subcontractors and self-perform contractors in the Sydney delivery environment will be highly regarded.   
• Proficient in all aspects of project controls including cost control, scheduling, monthly reporting.
