Smile Solutions, "Melbourne's Home of Dentistry"™, is located in the magnificent Manchester Unity Building in the heart of Melbourne's CBD and is Australia's largest and most commended dental practice. We occupy four entire levels, plus the tower, all of which are of great significance within the art deco movement and Australia's national architectural heritage.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time junior Operations Assistant to work within our projects and facilities team and gain hands on experience in a wide variety of administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive and passionate about the presentation of our practice and enjoy working in a large team-oriented environment.

This position is based at our CBD location, but will help coordinate operational tasks at our suburban Core Dental practices located throughout Melbourne.

Responsibilities                                              

• Restocking and management of our online Shopify site, including liaising with customers and managing physical stock levels across all practice locations.
• Cleaning and general upkeep of all kitchen facilities.
• Key and fob management for our CBD practice, including any additional onboarding support for new staff as directed.
• Assisting with the coordination of all onsite maintenance activities, including organising external contractor quotes and ordering applicable parts.
• Maintain stationary supplies and run general office errands.
• Adhoc administrative tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager. 

Requirements

• Full-time position (40 hours per week)
• A passion for customer service and office operations.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong administration skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.
