Aboriginal Cultural Liaison Officer

The Shire of Northam is seeking an Aboriginal Cultural Liaison Officer to help build and maintain strong relationships between the Shire and the local Aboriginal community. The role works closely with community members, Elders, Traditional Owners, and local organisations to support open communication, encourage community participation, and ensure Aboriginal voices are heard and respected.

As one of the key contacts for community engagement, the position supports cultural events, projects, and programs that celebrate Aboriginal culture, heritage, and connection to Country. The role also provides a high level of customer service and helps create positive partnerships that benefit both the community and the Shire.
