Chef/Head Chef

Full Time Head Chef for busy Cafe loacted in Fairbairn ACT.

Operating Monday to Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm

Please note no public transport in Fairbairn. Must have own car and license

We are seeking a driven and talented Fulltime Chef to join our team at The Mess Cafe' located in Fairbairn. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of delicious meals to delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients and cooking a variety of meals to our high standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Assisting with food preparation and presentation
• Ordering stock
• Writing and costing of menus
• Following all health and safety protocols
• Knife Skills

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Enthusiasm for creating delicious dishes and providing excellent customer service

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
