Skill: Technical Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the program manager, and be responsible for identifying, planning & co-ordinating tasks and deployment of best practises & techniques.
Utilise specialist & BA skills to elicit, validate & analyse business requirements and devise functional requirements & processes
Work with technology delivery team to identify solutions that are in line with business requirements and organisational strategic goals
Work with the data architect and interfacing systems to identify data requirements & define interface contracts
Produce project artefacts including, functional / non-functional requirements specification, process maps, data flows, data dictionaries, use cases and technical specifications
Assist with business case development, project planning & estimation process
Provide end-to-end project delivery support, including conducting walkthroughs, providing test support, taking ownership of issues, performing continuous validation and assisting with rollout activities.
Foster strong working & collaborative relationships with the business & technology stakeholders

Experience & Skills Required:

Demonstrated BA experience (5+ years) having previously worked in Senior BA capacity.
Familiar Risk/Financial experience
Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server, Oracle and ability to write SQL commands is required
Experience working on large scale projects & complex system implementations.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Is adaptable, accountable, solution orientated and possesses excellent analytical & problem solving skills
Experience within Australian financial institutions is preferred
Experience with Redshift is preferred.
