Excavator Operator / Labourer

Hully Foundations is looking for experienced Excavator Operators / Labourers to join our growing team.

We are looking for people with solid excavator experience who are also happy to get out of the machine and work alongside the crew when required. This is a varied, hands-on role working across piling, foundations and civil construction projects.

The Role

Working as part of our site crews, you will assist with the delivery of piling and foundation works across a range of projects.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Operating excavators safely and efficiently across our project sites.

• Excavation and preparation works associated with piling and foundations.

• Working around piling rigs, cranes and other heavy plant.

• Assisting with piling, foundation and general civil construction activities.

• Loading, unloading and moving materials around site.

• Assisting with mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment.

• Carrying out general labouring duties when not operating.

• Completing daily pre-starts and basic plant checks.

• Working closely with Supervisors and other crew members to keep works moving.

• Following site safety requirements, SWMS and company procedures.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.

About You

We are looking for someone who has excavator operating experience within piling, civil construction, earthworks or a similar construction environment.

You will ideally have:

• Demonstrated experience operating excavators in a construction environment.

• A current Excavator ticket/competency and White Card.

• Experience working around heavy plant and machinery.

• Piling or foundation experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

• A good understanding of site safety and safe plant operation.

• The ability to work confidently as part of a crew.

• A willingness to get out of the machine and assist with labouring and general site duties when required.

• A reliable attitude and willingness to work across different projects and locations.

• Additional construction tickets and licences will be highly regarded.
