About the Role

• Lead and manage your designated section, ensuring the consistent delivery of premium quality dishes
• Execute dishes with precision, maintaining exceptional quality, presentation, and portion control during service.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and senior team to uphold the restaurant’s culinary vision and operational excellence.
• Supervise and support junior team members within your section, fostering efficiency, communication, and professional growth.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and WH&S standards while ensuring a clean, organised, and high-performing workstation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant Qualifications: A formal qualification in Commercial Cookery is essential, with a strong foundation in kitchen fundamentals.
• Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef De Partie in a premium or fine dining restaurant.
• Safety & Hygiene Mastery: A solid understanding and strict adherence to WH&S regulations, with the ability to maintain and enforce the highest standards of kitchen safety and cleanliness.
• Passion for Excellence: A dedication to producing exceptional dishes, a creative mindset, and a desire to continually improve both individual and team performance.
