Rendering Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Rendering Supervisor to join our client's team in Cooma.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Rendering Operator, Leading Hand or Supervisor to step into a senior role and lead a team of approximately 4 employees.

About the Role

• Oversee daily rendering and by-product operations
• Lead, train and supervise the team
• Monitor production, yields, waste and product recovery
• Ensure safety, hygiene, quality and environmental requirements are met
• Oversee rendering, tallow, blood, paunch and hide processing
• Work with Maintenance and other departments to keep operations running smoothly
• Maintain records and assist with audits and environmental compliance
• Identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency

About You

• Rendering experience in a red meat processing environment
• Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Manager
• Good knowledge of rendering and by-product processes
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety
• Basic maintenance knowledge is highly desirable
• Boiler licence is highly desirable

What's on Offer

• Permanent full-time
• Monday-Friday roster
• Hours expected around 8am-4pm, with some flexibility
• $85,000 + for the right candidate
• Up to $5,000 relocation assistance available for eligible candidates
