CASUAL / PART-TIME CHEF & COOK WANTED

About the role

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on and flexible Casual/Part-Time Chef/Cook to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and has experience with baking, pastry and general food preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting our Head Chef/Cook with day-to-day kitchen operations

• Preparing and producing bakery items such as vanilla slices, donuts, slices, pies, sausage rolls, burgers, pizzas and other baked goods

• Food preparation, cooking and general kitchen duties

• Helping maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen

• Following recipes and maintaining consistent quality and presentation

• Working as part of a team to ensure food is prepared on time and to a high standard

About you

• Has previous commercial kitchen, baking or cooking experience

• Is reliable, punctual and hardworking

• Can work independently while also taking direction from the Head Chef/Cook

• Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work

• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Has a positive, team-focused attitude

• Is willing to help wherever needed in the kitchen

• Must be available to work different shifts across Monday to Sunday, between 7:00am and 7:00pm
