The Opportunity

MATTHEW THOMAS is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated adult Restaurant & Cafe Staff to join our team in Sandgate QLD 4017 and Aspley QLD 4034. As a casual role, this is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers

• Taking food and beverage orders, processing payments, and handling cash handling duties

• Preparing and serving food and beverages in an efficient and timely manner

• Restocking and maintaining clean and well-organised front of house and back of house areas

• Assisting with setting up, cleaning, and closing the cafe/restaurant as required

• Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards

What We're Looking For

• Well-presented, hard-working, physically fit and enthusiastic people

• Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, such as in a cafe or restaurant

• Speciality coffee experience is a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• A keen eye for detail, highly reliable with the ability to work well in a team

• A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience

• Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
