SOS Care SA is a family-owned and operated NDIS provider based on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
We are seeking caring, reliable, and highly flexible Female Disability Support Workers with Australian Citizenship to join our growing team and make a real difference in the lives of South Australians.
We currently have both Casual and Permanent Part-Time opportunities available for immediate commencement.
Whether you're experienced or looking to start a rewarding career in disability support, we'd love to hear from you. You don't need a Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability to apply. If you're the right fit for our team, we'll support you in completing your qualification, provide the required placement opportunities, and help you become a qualified support worker.
As an added bonus, once you've successfully completed your qualification, we will give you a pay increase!

About the Role
You will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, helping them to live independently and achieve their goals while maintaining a safe, positive, and supportive environment.
Duties may include:
Personal care and daily living assistance
Community access and social support
Domestic assistance and household tasks
Transporting participants to appointments, activities, and outings
Swimming and hydrotherapy support
Building life skills and promoting independence
Active overnight shifts and other flexible support arrangements as required
Essential Requirements
This position is open to female applicants only due to participant care requirements and in accordance with applicable Equal Opportunity legislation.
Australian Citizens only due to client-specific security clearances and compliance requirements
Must live reasonably close to the service area, as some shifts may be short notice
Current C class driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
Current Working with Children Check
Strong communication skills and a compassionate nature
Mandatory induction training
Must Have or Be Willing to Obtain
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Manual Handling Certificate
Infection Control Training
Medication Assistance Certificate
