Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Head Chef to lead our new Functions & Events precinct alongside our current bistro kitchen team. Located in the Trade Coast Hotel. This is a position for an experienced Head Chef who is passionate about providing great quality food and leadership in a high volume venue.

Key Responsibilities;

• Strong leadership skills, hire your new banquet team to drive best standards
• Lead food production across corporate events, weddings, special events - consistently on-brand, consisently excellent
• Partner with Sales & Events and Function Operations for seamless execution from brief to service.
• Manage food costs, budgets and stock control for both hotel & functions
• Own kitchen readiness against run sheets and event briefs - timing, plating, presentation & guest experience
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and OH&S standards across all prep and service
• Ability to achieve budgeted payroll and rostering efficiency.
