Reporting to the Culinary Director, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Events Kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality, operational excellence, financial performance and compliance with food safety and legislative standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will inspire and develop your team while maintaining the highest standards of food production and service execution.   Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the Events Kitchen team. Deliver exceptional food quality, consistency and presentation across all events. Manage kitchen operations, rostering, stock control and budgets. Drive food safety, compliance and operational standards. Collaborate with the Culinary Director and key stakeholders to execute successful events. Create memorable guest experiences through innovation and culinary excellence.   About You You are a passionate and experienced culinary leader with a strong background in events, functions, banqueting or high-volume hospitality operations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead from the front and take pride in developing teams that consistently deliver outstanding results.   To Be Successful, You Will Have: Proven experience as a Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef or similar leadership role. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing food costs, labour and inventory. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Excellent organisational, problem-solving and communication skills. A commitment to quality, consistency and exceptional customer experiences. The ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic events environment.   Essential Qualifications Certificate IV in Hospitality and/or Management is highly desirable Food Safety Supervisor Certification Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures Certification Provide First Aid Certification   Why Join Us?
