About the role:

Work closely with Partners and clients across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters such as:

• Private mergers and acquisitions, including share and asset sales.
• Business disposals, investments and joint ventures.
• Corporate restructures and reorganisations.
• Shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements and related transaction documents.
• Due diligence and transaction management.
• Commercial contracts, supply arrangements and service agreements.
• Corporate governance and Corporations Act advice.

The ideal candidate:

• The ability to independently manage transactions and competing deadlines.
• Strong commercial judgement and a practical approach to client advice.
• Confidence dealing directly with senior stakeholders.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
• Clear communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
