Business Development Manager - Residential Property Management

Edison is West Perth's real estate agency, covering residential property management, sales, commercial and strata. We're after a Business Development Manager to grow our residential managed portfolio, appraising rental properties and winning new management agreements for landlords.

This role has opened up because our current BDM is stepping back after building strong foundations across her patch. You'll pick up where she left off and keep the growth going.

Full time, with flexibility.

What you'll do

Appraise rental properties and win new management agreements from landlords across your patch.

Prospect and network to generate your own leads, not just wait for the phone to ring.

Build relationships with landlords, tenants becoming landlords, and returning clients.

Work alongside our sales and property management teams to convert referrals into signed agreements.

Aim to secure a minimum of 10 new managements a month from your own prospecting, on top of any internal referrals.

Keep your pipeline logged in PropertyTree and report on your activity weekly.

What's on offer

Uncapped commission on every new management you secure: 80% of one week's rent on leads you source yourself, 50% on existing client leads, 25% on internal referrals.

About you

Confident prospecting and starting conversations with people you've never met, cold calls and doorknocking included.

Property management or appraisal experience is ideal, but your personality and drive matter more than your resume.

Comfortable working to KPIs and reporting your pipeline honestly.

Familiarity with PropertyTree is a plus.

A full driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Current or working towards WA real estate registration.
