Estimator / Sales Administrator

RAW Structures is a licensed South Australian builder based in Moana, delivering renovations, extensions, design-and-construct homes, commercial fit-out and insurance work right across Adelaide. In 2026 we were named Master Builders SA Finishing Contractor of the Year, Residential at the Building Excellence Awards, which tells you something about the standard we hold ourselves to.

We have grown quickly, we have a full pipeline, and we are looking for someone to take the estimating function and run with it.

This is not a desk job with a spreadsheet. You will be out on site with clients, back at your desk pricing the work, and on the phone getting subbie prices across the line. If you like seeing a job go from a first site visit to a signed contract you had a hand in, you will enjoy this.

What you will actually do

• Attend site inspections and measure-ups, face to face with the client

• Read plans and prepare accurate take-offs

• Build estimates across the full range of our work: renovations, extensions, new homes, commercial fit-out, insurance and specialist trades

• Issue quote requests to subcontractors and suppliers, then chase the prices back until they land

• Manage supplier quotes and keep our pricing current

• Prepare and issue proposals in Wunderbuild, our project management platform

• Keep files, templates and price lists organised so the whole team can find what they need

What we are after

• Someone who presents well and is comfortable in front of a client on site

• Plan reading and take-off ability, or the technical background to pick it up fast

• Estimating experience across a range of building work is ideal, but we will back the right person from a trade or technical background

• Fast and vigilant. Quotes that sit are quotes we lose, and prices do not chase themselves

• Organised and structured. This role runs on process, not memory

• Current driver's licence
