Role Overview: As a Safety Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of all our operations on site. You will work closely with our project teams to develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain safety management plans and procedures in accordance with legislation and best practices.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance and identify potential safety hazards.

• Provide training and support to employees on safety practices, policies, and compliance requirements.

• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Collaborate with project managers and teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe work practices.

• Stay updated on relevant legislation, industry standards, and emerging safety trends.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and regulations in Queensland.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

• Certificates such as Construction Induction Card (White Card) and relevant safety training.
