Absolute Care and Health
About the role
Hello there,
If you’re hunting for a role that actually feels rewarding, well, we have it:
A fast-paced role – you won’t be bored!
Work that genuinely impacts participants, caregivers, and their families.
A close-knit team that values initiative, kindness, and real human connection.
A supportive workplace where you’re trusted, backed, and encouraged to grow.
A purpose-led organisation that’s all about helping people live life their way.
We’re Absolute Care & Health, and for over 12 years we’ve been reimagining what great care looks like. We deliver in-home aged care, disability support, and recovery services across Melbourne — all with heart.
We’re values-driven, human to the core, and our people make us who we are. Our coordinators sit right at the centre of everything: the ones who keep shifts running smoothly, participants supported, and caregivers informed.
We’ve got an opportunity for a confident, quick-thinking Care Coordinator to join our South Yarra team in a full-time role.
You’ll be the first point of contact for participants and caregivers. You are the calm, organised, solutions-focused person who keeps the whole operation moving 24/7. This is a hands-on, people-heavy role where you’ll think fast, communicate clearly, and solve problems before they escalate.
Your work will have a direct, positive impact on clients and caregivers right across Melbourne.
Coordinating rosters to ensure participants are matched with the right caregivers.
Making courtesy calls, following up actions, and keeping communication smooth.
Updating Care Plans, client information, and caregiver details with accuracy.
Recording and tracking bookings in a fast-paced environment.
Providing caregivers with timely updates about shift changes.
Supporting caregivers with clarity, warmth, and real care.
Thinking on your feet and resolving issues quickly and calmly.
Representing Absolute with professionalism, empathy, and a genuinely friendly approach.
A positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and empathy in spades.
Experience in the disability or NDIS sector (highly desirable).
Strong verbal and written communication skills because it’s a people business.
Previous rostering, scheduling, coordination, customer service or admin experience will be awesome!
Nice to have - Certificate IV in Disability Support (or equivalent experience).
A cool head under pressure and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
You’ll be tech savvy and catch on to systems with ease
Great organisational skills and sharp attention to detail – you’re the one that can spot mistakes!
We work in a bright, friendly office on Toorak Rd — literally a hop, skip, and a jump from South Yarra Station. We are surrounded by excellent coffee, great lunch spots, and all the South Yarra conveniences. And yes — we take morning tea seriously. Think biscuits, shared snacks, cakes brought in by the team and drinks after work every month.
If this sounds like your kind of role, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a cover letter letting us know why you are absolutely the right person for the job and we’ll be in touch to chat about what life at Absolute Care & Health could look like for you.
You must have the right to work in Australia and pass relevant background checks.
