Care Coordinator / Roserting

We’re looking for a Care Coordinator to join our team and keep the care magic moving behind the scenes. This is a role for someone who is organised, warm, switched on, and not easily frightened by a busy phone, a changing roster, or a last-minute “can you help?” moment.

So, what will you actually be doing?

You’ll be one of the key people making sure our clients and caregivers feel supported, informed and looked after.

Your day might include:

• Being the first point of contact for clients and caregivers
• Coordinating bookings and making sure shifts are filled efficiently
• Using our rostering system to keep client, caregiver and shift information accurate and up to date
• Matching client needs with the right caregiver skills, availability and preferences
• Publishing and allocating shifts so bookings are serviced smoothly
• Keeping caregivers updated when shifts change
• Checking in with clients and caregivers to see how things are going
• Helping resolve issues, complaints or incidents with a calm, solutions-focused approach
• Reconciling timesheets and keeping the admin wheels turning
• Working closely with other Care Operations, business development, People & Culture and finance.

In short: you’ll help make sure people get the care they need, caregivers know where they need to be, and everyone feels like they are in safe, capable hands.

No cape required. But honestly, it may feel like it some days.

You’ll probably love this role if you…

• Are beautifully organised and secretly enjoy a good spreadsheet, system or checklist
• Communicate clearly, kindly and confidently
• Can juggle competing priorities without throwing the juggling balls at anyone
• Think ahead and like solving problems before they become bigger problems
• Care about customer service and doing what you say you’ll do
• Are flexible, calm under pressure and happy working in a fast-moving environment
• Believe care should feel personal, respectful and human
• Like being part of a close-knit team where people genuinely help each other out

The practical bits

We’d love you to have:

• Experience in customer service
• Experience in staff coordination, rostering or scheduling
• Strong administration skills
• Great attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A positive, flexible, can-do approach
• Availability to work as part of a rotating roster, including across 7 days including weekends.

Experience in care, health, disability, aged care or community services would be wonderful — but your attitude, communication style and ability to stay cool, kind and organised matter just as much.
