About the role

TRADECO Building is looking for an experienced Carpenter with strong first and second fix skills to join our growing team.

We are a South Australian contractor delivering a mix of commercial and residential projects, from renovations and refurbishments through to fit-outs, remediation and building upgrades.

We have an in-house team of trades, so our carpenters work across a wide range of projects and alongside other skilled trades. No two jobs are exactly the same.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail and knows what a quality finish looks like.

What you'll be doing

• First and second fix carpentry across residential and commercial projects

• Framing, wall and ceiling works

• Doors, frames, skirtings, architraves, cabinetry and hardware

• Kitchen and bathroom fit-outs

• Commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and finishing works

• Residential renovations and upgrades

• General carpentry, repairs and replacement of damaged or weathered timber

• Remediation and maintenance works

• Plasterboard fixing and minor patching

• Working alongside our in-house trades across different projects

• Assisting with other trades where required

• Working independently and taking ownership of your work

• Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment

What we're looking for

We're looking for a carpenter who can work independently, solve problems and take pride in delivering a quality job from start to finish.

You'll have:

• Qualification in Carpentry

• White Card

• Current Drivers Licence

• Strong finishing skills and attention to detail

• Experience across residential and/or commercial projects

• The ability to read plans and work through jobs independently

• A practical, problem-solving approach

• A reliable and professional attitude

• The ability to work well as part of a team
