Aliminium Fabricator - Trailer Division

Intimidator Boats is a growing aluminium fabrication and boat-building business based in Pinjarra, WA. Since starting in 2020, we have grown from a small one-man operation into a busy workshop specialising in custom aluminium boats, custom alloy trailers and general aluminium fabrication. With our trailer division continuing to grow, we are looking for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This is a hands-on fabrication role suited to someone who is confident working with aluminium, takes pride in their workmanship and can be relied upon to turn up, get the job done and produce work to a high standard.

About the Role:

Your primary focus will be within our custom alloy trailer division, fabricating a range of purpose-built aluminium trailers. You will also assist with general fabrication projects and our custom aluminium boat builds as required. Our work is varied and custom, so we are looking for someone who can think practically, work accurately and confidently complete fabrication work rather than relying solely on repetitive production processes.

What You’ll Do:

• Fabricate and weld custom aluminium trailers from start to finish

• Cut, measure, shape, fit and assemble aluminium components

• Fabricate trailer chassis, frames, supports, guards, storage components and other custom features

• Read and interpret drawings, measurements and fabrication requirements

• Complete general aluminium fabrication and custom projects within designated time frames

• Assist with aluminium boat building, including hulls, decks, frames and custom components

• Perform grinding, finishing and preparation work to a high standard

• Check measurements, fitment and finished work for accuracy and quality

• Work independently when required while also contributing to the wider workshop team

• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean, organised and safe workspace

What You’ll Need:

• Qualification in Aluminium Fabrication - Cert III at a minimum (Trade qualified)

• Experience in aluminium fabrication, prior trailer fabrication as a bonus

• A strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to producing high-quality results

• Strong welding and assembly skills

• Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
