JUNIOR SOUS CHEF — MAEVE WINE

Maeve Wine is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in South Brisbane.

This role would suit a strong Chef de Partie who’s ready to take the next step, or an existing Junior Sous looking for a kitchen where they can keep developing.

We’re a small, busy restaurant with a produce-driven menu that changes regularly. You’ll be working closely with the Head Chef across service, prep, ordering and the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid restaurant experience and strong fundamentals
• Is organised, reliable and comfortable in a busy service
• Takes pride in their food and keeps standards high
• Can help lead and support junior chefs
• Wants to learn more about ordering, food costs, menu development and kitchen management
• Is interested in good produce, wine and thoughtful restaurant food

This is a hands-on cooking role with increasing responsibility — a good opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a Sous Chef and eventually run a kitchen.
