Eleanor's is Potts Point's new all-day European taverna - built as a neighbourhood anchor to sit, linger, and stay. Driven by a passion for outstanding produce and culinary innovation, we take classic Mediterranean dining traditions and elevate them with sharp, creative execution

Running 7am to 10pm daily, Eleanor’s seamlessly bridges the gap from first-light specialty coffee and casual breakfast through to high-quality sandwiches, afternoon aperitifs, tap wines but some of NSW most renowned producers, and evening taverna-style grazing. We’re pairing an ambitious, produce-led food program with effortless neighbourhood warmth, backed by an established, passionate local hospitality network.

We’re looking for a sharp, culinary-driven Head Chef who lives and breathes high-quality food to take the reins and launch our kitchen from day one. Whether you’re an experienced Head Chef from a top wine bar or European bistro, or an ambitious Sous Chef ready to step up and make your mark, this is a rare opportunity to shape an innovative, all-day culinary offering from the ground up.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Culinary Innovation & Passion: Bring creative flair and uncompromising standards to our kitchen, elevating everything from morning artisan breakfast items and precision daytime sandwiches to innovative, high-impact evening taverna plates and seasonal specials.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and inspire a brand-new kitchen team built for speed, culinary consistency, and a healthy workplace culture across a 7-day operational footprint.

• Commercial Savvy: Know your numbers inside out. You’ll manage stock, supplier relationships, kitchen labour, and prep schedules to consistently hit and exceed target COGS KPIs.

• Operational Precision: Keep a spotless, highly organised kitchen running on low-waste efficiency, maintaining high food quality across all parts of service
