Boilermaker/Welder

$75 per hour, casual flat rate Ongoing shutdown work across the PilbaraFIFO from Perth Airport

Join our vastly diverse Northwest division, conducting boilermaking and welding duties on multiple projects across the Pilbara Region.

THE ROLE

Assemble and install new supports/structural members to existing infrastructureInspect and identify areas in need of repair, or any malfunctions/damageRead and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedulesCarry out fabrication, maintenance and upgrades as requiredCompletion of sign off documentation as requiredPrepare/complete Fabrications that comply with the client’s specification and drawingsParticipate in Toolbox and safety meetingsContribute to activities of continuous improvementAdhere to safe work practices

About You

Must be able to weld to a 3G/4G procedureAble to weld to a 6G procedure - desirable but not requiredExperience in the mining industryAustralian trade certificatePolice Check (or ability to obtain one)White cardProactive, teamwork skills, and high safety standards
