Boilermaker/Welder

• $75 per hour, casual flat rate
• Ongoing shutdown work across the Pilbara
• FIFO from Perth Airport 

Join our vastly diverse Northwest division, conducting boilermaking and welding duties on multiple projects across the Pilbara Region.

THE ROLE

• Assemble and install new supports/structural members to existing infrastructure
• Inspect and identify areas in need of repair, or any malfunctions/damage
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedules
• Carry out fabrication, maintenance and upgrades as required
• Completion of sign off documentation as required
• Prepare/complete Fabrications that comply with the client’s specification and drawings
• Participate in Toolbox and safety meetings
• Contribute to activities of continuous improvement
• Adhere to safe work practices

ABOUT YOU

• Must be able to weld to a 3G/4G procedure
• Able to weld to a 6G procedure - desirable but not required
• Experience in the mining industry
• Australian trade certificate
• Police Check (or ability to obtain one)
• White card
• Proactive, teamwork skills, and high safety standards
