The Role
The Forensics and Financial Crime (F&FC) team, sits within our market leading Risk and Regulatory Practice and specialises in providing our clients comprehensive F&FC solutions across a range of industries with a particular focus on the financial services sector.
We help clients proactively manage key risks including money laundering and terrorism financing, fraud and scams, and bribery and corruption. We advise clients on building and implementing pragmatic risk management solutions and processes to enable compliance with relevant obligations, and work closely with them when issues are identified that require specialist investigation and remediation.
We are seeking a Manager to join our dynamic and fast growing team, where you will have the opportunity to work on high profile client projects and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 5 to 7 years' experience in AML/CTF, financial crime, risk advisory or regulatory consulting who is ready to take on greater client responsibility and begin developing leadership capabilities.
You will have the opportunity to work across the breadth of domains within our risk & regulatory consulting practice. This role is based in our Sydney office with hybrid working arrangements available.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Deliver client engagements across AML/CTF, financial crime and regulatory risk projects. Support clients in assessing, designing and enhancing risk management frameworks and controls. Conduct AML/CTF Program Independent Reviews and risk assessments. Contribute to remediation, transformation and regulatory change programs. Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders. Mentor and coach junior team members while developing your own leadership skills.
More About You
Approximately 5-7 years' experience in AML/CTF, financial crime, risk advisory or regulatory consulting (ideally in a professional services environment) Practical knowledge of Australia's AML/CTF framework and financial crime risks. Experience in one or more of the following:AML/CTF risk assessmentsIndependent ReviewsKYC/CDD and ECDDTransaction MonitoringScreening and investigationsFraud and scams risk managementRegulatory change or remediation projectsStrong stakeholder management and project delivery skills. A collaborative approach and desire to mentor junior team members. Relevant tertiary qualifications.
