Kapture Photography is WA's largest independent school photography company. We've been capturing smiles, squints, chaos, and character in WA schools for 21+ years - and we don't plan on stopping.

The Role - What You'll Actually Be Doing:

We're looking for a detail-obsessed, image-loving team member to help us turn raw school photography into polished, personalised products.

At the entry level, you'll mainly be working with Adobe Photoshop and Bridge - enhancing images, editing, cropping, colour correcting, and helping build creative package templates from school specific photo sets.

If you've got a brain that also loves a spreadsheet, there's room to explore the data side of production: adjusting data, building proofs, working with our industry-specific software, and dipping into (or crafting!) organised, logical systems behind the scenes.

And if you've ever imagined yourself behind the camera and enjoy working with children, we can support that journey too.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You:

• Are confident with Photoshop (and Bridge) and can pick up new software quickly
• Have an excellent eye for visual detail... You notice when something's 2px off
• Are organised, self-motivated and can keep calm when juggling high-volume photo edits
• Can switch between independent work and team vibes with ease
• Don't mind repetitive tasks. You know they're part of producing quality outcomes
• Are curious, teachable, and quietly obsessed with doing things well

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience in the school photography industry or using Timestone software
• Experience in a pre-press or photo lab environment
• Understanding of colour profiles, retouching, or photo editing workflows
• A love for systems, processes, or data wrangling (Excel nerds welcome!)
• Design know-how, even if basic. Layout sense and taste still count!
• Photographic curiosity around cameras, lights and composition

Logistics:

• Casual position with minimum 22.5 hrs and maximum 37.5 hrs per week, during the school year
• No work available between early December and early February due to the nature of the industry
• Flexible scheduling for the right person
• Full-time or part-time role available for the right person
• Malaga-based, in-office role
