About the business

Alltrade Aluminium is a leading trade and direct to public retail store specialising in aluminium, stainless steel and glass supplies. We have two locations, one in North Melbourne and another in Dandenong South. This position is based in North Melbourne. 

The Role

Currently we are on the lookout for our next admin superstar to fill the role of customer facing sales and telephone enquiries. The role is based in North Melbourne, close to Macaulay train station and the Boundary Road bus interchange. The role is a multifaceted one with a ‘many hats’ approach. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated and personable to be the face of our company.  

Skills required

• Customer service experience (Minimum 2 years)

• A customer focused attitude with excellent relationship management skills

• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Drive

• Strong attention to detail

• Fantastic time management and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently as well as a team environment

• Must be able to cope in a fast-paced work environment and work well under pressure

• Knowledge in administration and the building industry is a bonus (But not a must!)

Role duties include by are not limited to:

• Delivering a high level of customer service at all times

• Handling enquiries from retail and industry customers face to face and over the phone

• General office administration

• Maintaining front office area

• Building product knowledge through the use of our websites

• Answering all incoming phones
