Guest Service Attendant

O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat is a household name in the tourism industry. Since opening in 1926 the O’Reilly family have grown the business to accommodate up to 500 people across the Retreat, Villas, camp ground and Pat's Farm, while providing exceptional service and experiences through the Lost World Day Spa, multiple food and beverage outlets and an extensive range of outdoor activities. 

An opportunity has become available to join the vibrant and friendly front of house team. We are looking for an experienced Guest Service Agent (GSA) to provide friendly and efficient service to all of O’Reilly’s guests.

About the role:

The role will involve;

• Providing our guests with warm, friendly and efficient service from the moment they arrive, right through until the time of their departure

• Answering queries from our guests in a prompt, efficient and courteous way

• Processing financial transactions accurately

• Promote and up-sell O’Reilly’s facilities and experiences through strong product knowledge.

• Handling guest issues and complaints

• Answering Reservation inquires

What we look for:

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a hotel front of house environments is preferred, but sometimes experience isn’t everything!

• Newbook PMS experience, but not essential

• Advanced knowledge of MS (word, excel and Outlook)

• Immaculate presentation and grooming

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with an eye for detail

• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, in a fast paced and dynamic environment

• Demonstrated strong people skills

• A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a guest-oriented approach to problem solving

• Authentic and friendly disposition
