Post Card Courier

The Post Card Courier ensures the heart of the Postcard Puzzle Project reaches its destination.
Each delivery helps build connection between generations and supports young people experiencing the real impact of volunteering.

Without this role, the postcard – and the relationships behind it – would never come together.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Collect postcard letters from the school office at Kirwan State High School once a week
• Transport the letters to The Good Shepherd Home
• Locate the participating residents within the aged care facility and personally deliver their letters
• Follow the resident list provided during volunteer onboarding to ensure the correct delivery
• Represent Volunteering North Queensland in a respectful and professional manner when interacting with staff and residents
