Hydrovac Operator

We have a vacancy for an experienced Hydrovac Operator to drive and operate a Vac Truck while working within our electrical maintenance and project teams.

We are looking for an energetic team player with a can-do attitude, reliable, understands safety, has good communication skills, takes pride in their work and operating plant, and enjoys working in a team.  

Some of your duties will include:

• Operate and drive Hydrovac Truck as and when required on project and maintenance activities in Canberra.

• Safely perform hydro excavation to expose underground utilities and electrical infrastructure

• Correctly operate and perform daily maintenance procedures on Hydrovac

• Completion of JSA's or necessary paperwork

• Assist qualified trades

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Support team members when required

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum MR Drivers Licence

• Experience and competency operating and maintaining a Hydrovac Truck

• White Card

• Asbestos Awareness Training

• Working with Asbestos Containing Materials

• Silica Awareness Training

Although not essential, candidates with the following will be looked upon favorably:

• Under or over 11 meter EWP Tickets

• Evo Energy Blue Book training

• Traffic Management Cards
