Approx. 30 casual hours a week, or full time potential for the right candidate.

About the role

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and high standards of food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support restaurant staff during daily operations

• Allocate duties and coordinate shift activities

• Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient, and professional service

• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback appropriately

• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards

• Train and assist new employees with restaurant procedures and service standards

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control

• Manage cash handling, payments, and end-of-shift procedures

• Open and close the restaurant as required

About you

• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality supervision

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team

• Good organisational and time-management skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to handle cash and basic administrative tasks

• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays

• A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
