Are you an experienced Employment Lawyer ready to take ownership and build something exceptional? We're partnering with a dynamic Perth legal practice to find a senior Employment Lawyer who's ready to establish and lead their brand-new employment law division.

Why This Role is Special: This isn't just another employment law position - it's your chance to build a specialised practice from the ground up within an established, well-functioning firm. You'll have complete autonomy to shape the direction of their employment law offering whilst collaborating with existing practice groups across Corporate & Commercial, Property, Energy & Resources, and Construction law.

What You'll Be Doing: 

Taking full ownership of employment law matters from start to finish 

Providing comprehensive advice to corporate and commercial clients 

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and workplace agreements 

Managing workplace relations, enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes 

Conducting workplace investigations and disciplinary processes 

Representing clients in tribunals, courts, and mediation proceedings 

Building and managing your own client portfolio with complete autonomy 

Driving business development and building strong client relationships

We're Looking For: 

Admitted legal practitioner in WA Minimum 6 years' employment law experience with proven independence 

Strong grasp of Fair Work Act, WA Industrial Relations Act, and related legislation 

Track record managing complex employment matters end-to-end 

Experience with workplace investigations, tribunals, and dispute resolution 

Excellent communication and client relationship skills 

Business development skills and commercial acumen

Bonus Points For: 

Enterprise bargaining and industrial relations experience 

WHS and discrimination law knowledge Mid-tier or boutique firm background 

Sector experience in energy & resources, construction, or technology
