Job purpose

The applicant will be required to drive MC combination milk tankers ranging from 20-30mtr to transport liquid milk products locally and interstate according to factory demands.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Drive a MC combinations ranging from 20-30mtr.

• Operate on-board telematics.

• Wash vehicle externally and CIP tanker.

• Complete necessary paperwork i.e. run sheets, communication docket and Reeve Milk Docket.

• Company portal apps to be installed on personal mobile.

• Shift and weekend work on a rotating roster.

• Able to work independently and as a co-operative member of the team.

• Practice and adhere to Reeve's policy and procedures.

• Develop positive relationships with internal and external suppliers, work colleges and factory staff.

• Deliver high quality customer service outcomes.

• Comply with Legal Statutory WHS requirements and Reeves Policy and Management systems i.e. NHVAS and Safe Foods requirements.

• Act responsibly to ensure the safety of self and others.

• Follow safe work methods.

• Identify and report hazards, accidents/incidents and ensure documentation is completed.

• Respect private property and drive safely to conditions.

• Pre-start checks on combination.

• Complete factory inductions.

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications and licences include:

• MC licence.

• Minimum of 3 years experience.

• BFM accredited or willing to obtain.

Desirable Qualifications and licences include:

• Tanker experience.

• Milk Grading Certificate.

Working conditions

This applicant will be required to drive tankers in all weather conditions. This job entails weekend work on a rotating roster and multiple nights away from home per week (sometimes consecutive nights). You will need to be able to operate on external computers and metering systems for the purposes of loading and unloading, and in cab telematics.

Physical requirements

The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, be able to get in and out of the prime mover regularly using three points of contact. Able to kneel down to connect and disconnect hose line to tanker. Able to externally wash prime mover and tanker.
