Project Manager

CAPDA Consulting is seeking experienced Project and Program Managers to support current and upcoming opportunities across major Defence and National Security programs. Opportunities span capability acquisition, sustainment, ICT, engineering, infrastructure and broader program delivery environments.

Successful candidates will work closely with Defence stakeholders, industry partners and multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic projects and programs that support Defence and National Security outcomes.

• Lead and support the planning, coordination and delivery of Defence projects and programs.
• Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues and dependencies to achieve successful outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, reports, briefs and governance documentation.
• Monitor project performance and provide timely reporting and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Facilitate project and program governance activities, including meetings, reviews and decision-making forums.
• Engage and collaborate with Defence stakeholders, industry partners and delivery teams.
• Support capability acquisition, sustainment and delivery activities as required.
• Contribute to assurance, compliance and reporting activities in accordance with Defence governance frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience delivering Defence, Government or complex project/program outcomes.
• Strong project and/or program management, planning and coordination skills.
• Experience managing schedules, risks, issues, dependencies and governance requirements.
• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across Defence, Government and industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of reports, briefs and governance documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience working within structured governance and assurance frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Current NV1 Security Clearance or higher.
• Experience working within Defence capability, acquisition, sustainment or delivery programs.
