Special Counsel Employment Law - 10yrs+ PQE

We are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a respected and growing specialist litigation practice as Special Counsel in Sydney CBD. 

You will bring extensive experience advising employers and senior stakeholders, a commercially minded approach to complex workplace issues, and a proven ability to develop strong client relationships while contributing to the ongoing success of the practice. 

Duties will include: 

• Managing sophisticated employment and workplace matters across a broad range of industries 
• Providing strategic advice to businesses, executives and senior decision-makers on employment-related issues 
• Conducting significant litigation matters, including appearances in courts, tribunals, mediations and other dispute resolution processes 
• Advising on executive exits, workplace disputes, discrimination matters and other sensitive employment issues 
• Assisting clients with restraint of trade matters, confidentiality obligations and post-employment disputes 
• Leading workplace investigations and delivering practical, commercially focused outcomes 
• Supporting the development of junior lawyers within a collaborative team environment 
• Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued expansion of the employment practice
