Sales Representative - Warm Leads, In-House

About us

Gutter Guard Installer is a growing business fitting high-quality gutter protection that keeps leaves, embers and pests out of people's gutters. We are not a call centre and we are not a door-knocking outfit. Our leads come to us through our own advertising, so you are talking to people who have already put their hand up and asked for a quote.

The role

This is an in-house, phone-based sales role. You will be the first proper conversation a customer has with us. Your job is to call the leads that come in, understand what the customer needs, explain how we can help, and book or close the job.

You are not cold calling. You are not chasing strangers. Every lead you speak to has already enquired. You will also have your own assistant who prepares all the quotes for you, so you can spend your time selling instead of doing paperwork.

What you'll be doing day to day

- Calling and following up warm leads quickly, while they are still keen

- Talking customers through their options over the phone and in writing

- Passing job details to your assistant, who prepares and sends the quotes for you

- Following up quotes until they are won or closed off

- Keeping your leads and notes tidy in our CRM

- Hitting weekly and monthly targets

What we're looking for

- A confident, warm phone manner and genuine people skills

- Some experience in phone-based or in-person sales (trades, home improvement, solar, telco or similar is a plus, but not essential)

- Someone who follows up properly and does not let leads go cold

- Reliable, organised and comfortable working to targets

- Basic computer confidence, or the willingness to learn our simple systems

- Australian working rights
