We're Jackfruit Home & Garden — a growing team of gardeners who take real pride in the outdoor spaces we look after, and we're hiring more people to join us.

What you'll be doing
Our work covers the full range: mowing, whipper snipping and edging, pruning and hedging, maintaining high-end gardens, clearing overgrown blocks, planting new garden beds, and laying turf. If you've got softscaping experience — garden bed design, plant selection and layout — we've got work for that too.

You don't need to know all of it. We'll only put you on shifts you're comfortable and confident doing, and you'll pick up new skills as you go. Most days you'll work in pairs, sometimes solo, sometimes as part of a bigger crew.

What you'll need
– Confidence with lawn mowing, whipper snipping and edging
– Some experience with general garden work (pruning, hedging etc.)
– A genuine liking for outdoor work and pride in doing it well
– Blue card, yellow card and police check (or willingness to get them)
– ACDC (chemical spray) licence, or willingness to get one
– Your own transport to our depot or job sites around Moreton Bay

Nice to have (not essential)
– Landscaping or horticulture qualifications
– Comfortable towing and reversing a trailer
– Machine operation tickets

What we offer
– All tools and equipment supplied — commercial grade, well maintained
– Real employment: $34–45/hr + super depending on experience, with room to grow into permanent and team leader roles
– Uniform provided, plus Friday knock-offs with the crew
