Generalist Lawyer - Part-Time

About the role

We are looking to expand our team with a part-time Generalist Lawyer working on-site with experience across property and wills and estates, to manage matters including drafting and reviewing contracts, preparing legal documents, and providing advice. Exposure to our broader practice areas across commercial and family law is a bonus but not essential. We value a genuine generalist who can turn their hand to client matters as they arise.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing contracts

• Preparing legal documents

• Providing advice to clients

• Managing matters across property and wills and estates

• Managing multiple files and meeting deadlines

About you

• Admission to practice as a Lawyer in Australia and a current practising certificate

• Minimum 3 years post-admission experience, with demonstrated experience working as a lawyer in a generalist firm, or property and wills and estates experience

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, correspondence and attention to detail

• Effective client communication and relationship management skills

• Ability to manage multiple files, meet deadlines and work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• Familiarity with LEAP practice management
