Team members have the opportunity to work on varied projects, gain broad practical experience, and support essential electrical infrastructure in multiple regions.Role Description The Electrical Tradesman role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sydney, NSW. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, following all relevant standards and regulations. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical plans, wiring and connecting fixtures and equipment, testing and fault-finding, and completing documentation for Railway based work.
The Candidate:Recognized electrical trade qualification and current electrician’s license in NSW.Demonstrated experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, relevant codes, and regulatory compliance requirements.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job specifications.Competence with electrical testing, fault diagnosis, and use of standard electrical tools and instruments.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a site-based team and with clients.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe work practices.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different job sites within Sydney and surrounding regions.Previous experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial projects and any additional certifications (e.g., working at heights, EWP, first aid) are advantageous.
