The business is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Business Machine Mechanic to undertake the testing, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of coffee machines and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Examining and testing coffee machines, equipment and associated control systems to identify and diagnose faults.
• Diagnosing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults in machines and related equipment.
• Adjusting, repairing and replacing worn or defective components, parts and wiring.
• Disassembling equipment as required to inspect, repair or replace defective components.
• Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment following repairs and maintenance.
• Installing, testing and adjusting electrical and electronic components and control systems associated with coffee machines.
• Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance on machines and related equipment.
• Applying electrical, electronic and mechanical principles when diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment.
• Testing repaired equipment to confirm correct operation.
• Advising customers on correct equipment operating procedures to help prevent malfunctions.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment and work areas.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Business Machine Mechanic or in a closely related technical role.
• Sound knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Experience in diagnosing faults and repairing machines and equipment.
• Ability to disassemble, repair, reassemble, test and adjust equipment.
• Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use appropriate testing instruments and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $79,000 – $100,000 per annum
