Junior Veterinary Receptionist – Full-Time | No Vet Experience Needed

Great with people, confident with technology and love animals?

We're looking for a Junior Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Rouse Hill Family Vets.

You don't need veterinary experience — we'll teach you that.

What we do need is someone who already knows how to deliver great customer service in a busy environment and is ready to bring those skills into the veterinary world.

You might be our person if you:

• Have experience in a fast-paced customer service role — think hospitality, retail, reception or call centres

• Are confident and warm on the phone

• Are tech savvy and comfortable learning new software and systems

• Can juggle calls, messages, bookings and competing priorities

• Stay calm, kind and professional when someone is stressed or upset

• Are organised, reliable and quick to learn

• Genuinely enjoy helping people

• Love animals and want to build a career in the veterinary industry

A love of animals is important, but this is first and foremost a customer service role.

What you'll be doing

You'll be one of the first people our clients connect with and an important part of making every visit feel supported from the very beginning.

You'll be trained to:

• Answer client phone calls, emails and messages

• Book appointments and manage schedules

• Welcome clients and their pets

• Check patients in and out

• Process payments and assist with insurance claims

• Help keep a busy veterinary reception running smoothly

• Support pet owners through some of their happiest — and hardest — moments
