Venue General Manager

As Venue General Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the team culture, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and make the venue a place the local community genuinely loves.

We’re looking for a hands on leader who thrives on the floor, leads with presence, and knows how to create a venue that feels high energy, welcoming, and connected to its community.

What you’ll be doing:

• Be the driving force of the venue, visible, engaged, and leading from the front every shift.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences that reflect the energy and character of Chippendale.
• Coach, develop, and motivate your team in real time.
• Build a strong, accountable, and positive team culture.
• Oversee daily operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Manage labour, COGS, and P&L to deliver strong commercial performance.
• Recruit, train, and retain high performing team members.
• Build strong connections with the local Chippendale community through engagement and activations.

Who we’re looking for:

• A confident, experienced leader who loves being in the action and understands what great hospitality feels like.
• Commercially aware, with experience across labour, COGS, and P&L.
• A natural coach who lifts performance and holds high standards.
• Comfortable leading a busy, high energy venue.
• People focused, with a genuine love for hospitality and creating great experiences.
