About the role
Permanent roles within our estimating team, based at Balmain and Kurnell offices, NSW. Estimation required in the geotechnical/civil sector. Contributing to our output of tenders to continue to build on a strong existing Client base. Part of a positive culture that encourages innovation and gold standard team interaction in a flexible and autonomous environment.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and submitting tenders for basement shoring walls
Preparing and submitting tenders for government/ council slope Remediation works
Preparing and submitting tenders for large infrastructure projects across Australia
About you
Proven estimator from the geotechnical and civil construction industry
Experience with design
Onsite experience
1-3 years' experience in the Civil/Geotechnical Construction industry in estimating
A mix of project and estimating experience is ideal
First principle estimating experience
Experience with the development of subcontractor work packages and review
Civil Engineering degree is preferred
Outstanding communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Technical knowledge, an eye for detail and continuous improvement of systems and processes
You will be keen to maximise the opportunity to learn and further develop your skills through exposure to multiple ground engineering disciplines.
