Desal Electrical OMT

We’re seeking an Electrical Operation Maintenance Technician to support our Desalination Plant team on a 2/1 continuous shift roster (nights & days) FIFO from Perth. This position is offered on permanent full-time basis. 

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating, controlling and monitoring desalination plant processes and equipment (Pumps, valves, actuators, instrumentation & communication systems)
• Technical fault finding, reporting, implementing corrective actions and maintenance as required
• Implementation and safe application of the permit to work and Isolation & tagging procedures

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Electrical Trade Qualification
• WA Electrical Licence
• Background in water treatment processes and equipment  
• Working knowledge of SAP, SCADA, Citec and Allen Bradley PLC
• Instrumentation and HV Switching qualifications are desirable
• Working at Heights & Confined Space, EWP, Forklift
• Hold or have the ability to obtain MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
• A current Drivers licence
