Silk Hospitality is seeking experienced Housekeeping Supervisors and Office Coordinators to join our newly managed housekeeping team at the prestigious Hilton Sydney.

About the Roles

Housekeeping Supervisor
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play a key leadership role in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, supporting and developing team members, and ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Hilton’s high standards.

Working closely with hotel departments and Silk Hospitality leadership, you’ll help drive smooth daily operations while fostering a positive, motivated, and high-performing team culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and supervise daily housekeeping operations
• Support, coach, and motivate team members on shift
• Conduct room inspections to ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation
• Allocate daily tasks and manage workflow efficiently
• Respond to guest requests and operational needs promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Manage housekeeping communications, calls, and requests
• Maintain accurate reports and operational records
• Promote and enforce Workplace Health & Safety standards
• Support the quick resolution of operational issues when they arise

Office Coordinator
As an Office Coordinator, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the housekeeping department, helping to ensure the team is organised, informed, and equipped to deliver exceptional service every day.
This is a hands-on coordination role suited to someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with people at all levels, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the housekeeping operation
• Coordinate staff rosters, shift allocations, and daily operational requirements
• Assist with timesheets, attendance records, and payroll-related administration
• Manage housekeeping communications, calls, emails, and requests
• Coordinate information between housekeeping, hotel departments, and management
• Maintain accurate staff, operational, and housekeeping records
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and general office administration
• Support supervisors and management with daily operational requirements
• Communicate operational updates and requirements to housekeeping team members
• Assist with resolving day-to-day administrative and operational issues
• Maintain a professional, organised, and welcoming housekeeping office environment

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for people who take genuine pride in their work and understand that exceptional housekeeping is an important part of the luxury guest experience.

Depending on the position, you’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment
• Previous supervisory experience for Housekeeping Supervisor positions
• Strong administrative and coordination skills for Office Coordinator positions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• A keen eye for detail and pride in high-quality presentation
• Ability to prioritise and stay organised in a busy environment
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support your team
• Availability to work across a rotating roster (approximately 30+ hours per week, depending on the role and operational needs)
• Valid Australian working rights
