Chef de Partie – Centennial Homestead

Centennial Homestead is looking for a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

We’re a busy restaurant in the heart of Centennial Park, serving an all-day menu seven days a week, with breakfast and lunch at the centre of our operation. We also host a variety of events and functions in the evenings, making this a role with plenty of variety.

We’re looking for a Chef de Partie who is passionate about food, enjoys working as part of a team and wants to continue developing their skills in a professional and fast-paced kitchen.

The Role

Working closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chefs, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
• Working across our breakfast, lunch and all-day menu
• Assisting with the preparation and execution of evening events and functions
• Running your section efficiently during busy services
• Maintaining excellent food quality, presentation and consistency
• Completing daily preparation and mise en place
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
• Supporting junior members of the team and contributing to a positive kitchenculture
• Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef
• Has a genuine passion for cooking and hospitality
• Takes pride in their food and presentation
• Is organised, reliable and works well under pressure
• Can confidently manage their section during busy service
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
• Is keen to learn, develop and take the next step in their career
• Has a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
