Assistant FOH Manager

Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily lunch/dinner operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting staff to maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role involves leading the team during shifts, managing workflow, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.

Cafe Lewi is seeking a Assistant Foh manager to join our growing team. The Assistant manager will work closely with the Owners to make sure that the quality of service is the best as it can be. Wine and beverage knowledge essential. Currently open wednesday night and friday nights but looking to expand to 3-4 nights. RSA is required and essential. 
Key Responsibilities: 

Team Leadership & Supervision
Supervise and coordinate café staff during shifts 

Train, mentor, and support team members 

Delegate tasks and ensure smooth daily operations 

Foster a positive and productive team culture 
Customer Service

Deliver and maintain excellent customer service standards 

Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally 

Build strong relationships with regular customers 
Operations Management

close the café as required 

Ensure efficient workflow during busy periods 

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies 

Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations 
Quality Control

Ensure consistency in food and beverage preparation 

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café 

Uphold brand standards and service quality 
Administrative Support

Assist with rostering and staff scheduling 

Support daily cash handling and reconciliation 

Report operational issues to management 

Must have RSA.
