National Production Manager

EJ Supplies is the food manufacturing and supply business behind the El Jannah restaurant network, producing everything from vegetable prep and sauces to our charcoal chicken lines. As we grow across NSW and VIC, we’re looking for a hands-on National Production Manager to lead daily production performance across our sites.

The Role

This is a floor-based leadership role, not a desk job. You’ll own production performance across all processing lines — turning demand and schedules into reliable, cost-effective output while keeping food safety, quality and consistency front and centre on every line, every shift.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll lead Processing Line Team Leads directly and drive accountability across production line operators throughout NSW, VIC and future sites.

What You’ll Do

• Drive daily production output across all lines to meet schedule and volume targets
• Maintain an active floor presence across every line, every day
• Identify and implement initiatives that lift line efficiency, throughput and labour productivity
• Monitor and report on yield, driving down waste and cost per unit
• Set clear targets for Team Leads and hold them accountable to output and quality
• Be the first point of contact for production, quality and delivery issues on the floor
• Coordinate production across NSW and VIC sites to align output with demand
• Champion food safety, WHS and quality standards on every line

What You’ll Bring

• A Diploma or Certificate in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Food Processing, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3–5+ years in a hands-on production or line leadership role in food manufacturing
• Experience running multiple processing lines and, ideally, multi-site operations
• Strong knowledge of food processing, production line operations and supply chain/inventory basics
• A hands-on, outcome-driven style with the ability to lead and hold teams accountable
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine problem-solver’s mindset
